If you want the gaming equivalent from banging your head against a wall, then simply go ahead and buy this game. even though Cutthroat buccaneers love to plunder villages and ships, there are a line that we don’t cross. Even while we do steal the booty and coin, we try not to steal ideas with people who’ve worked hard at ‘em and wish ta profit off ‘em. O ‘course, while piratin’ is a huge thing on tha internet now, it rarely mean that those pirates try to copy the experience and pass it off as their very own. However , that’s a whole different issue, which will needs gentler touch than a Pirate’s. There are a point to this ramblin’ openin’ though, and this point lies in Lep’s World 2 In addition. The thing about platformers is that they have their personal standard tropes and a lot of them come from the Mario Games. However , over time, the tropes began to change along with the games, so sometimes respect is necessary. It’s a nice throwback to earlier times, and retro gameplay always has a place in the hearts of even the most everyday gamers. Lep’s World 2 Plus could be taking a little bit of liberty with the word “homage”. You see, the first levels of Super Mario always had a familiar feel to the idea, and at the same time, the platforming action has been a plan. You play as a pinus radiata cone throwing, coin collecting leprechaun who may have to traverse a bunch of levels to recovery his people and get his platinum back from an evil wizard. Similar to in the first game, Mario’s turtles are replaced by snails, mushrooms are clovers and pipes are tree-stumps. Etc, and so forth, etc . It’s almost like the developers manufactured some videogame version of a word-processor’s ‘find and replace’ function and used it at Mario. They just forgot to make the game enjoyable in any way, shape or form. As uninspired as Lep’s World was, component two seems even more cheap as it has basically just a retread of the first one. Many of the levels are nearly identical to the initial game in their design and look, and most of the enemies are exactly the same. It gets too bad that you’d be forgiven if, for any moment, you accidentally thought you were participating in the original. The graphics are a little crisper compared to the first, some of the backgrounds are different and there are amounts where you swim, but those are to the only variations you’ll notice. The coders were even nice enough to opening over the same crummy controls from the former. When Lep leaps, he seems to drift in the air and movements in general are unresponsive and sticky. Now comes Lep’s World 2, and it’s more of the same. Literally. This is practically the exact same game mainly because first one. Heck, even the App icon is exactly the same as the first. You play as a pinus radiata cone throwing, coin collecting leprechaun which to traverse a bunch of levels to recovery his people and get his yellow metal back from an evil wizard. You do receive sime good power ups in this go-round, like invincibility and super-speed, and as you progress you’ll gain access to different abilities like wall-jumping and swinging from ropes. And Lep reaches fight bosses this time around too! Unfortunately, that they are awful and boring fights that appear like they were included as an afterthought. Actually most of the enhanced abilities and changes in the following game just seem like they were tacked upon try and give the game the appearance of something different. Lep’s World 2 is basically a clone associated with a clone. Even with the ‘improvements’ made within the first one, it’s still tedious, vapid, ineffective garbage. If you want some original and resourceful ‘Mario’ type games then please take a gander at games like Soosiz or Terra Noctis.
